Project/Product Manager – software engineering, Miami, onsite

We are working with an innovative SaaS software company that are looking to revolutionise the construction industry. Their product’s will allow accurate tracking and cost savings through their app as well as their physical on-site product. This business is based in the heart of Miami with their engineering team of 8 collaborating in the office each day. 

As Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of cross-functional engineering projects – from hardware development to backend services, frontend features, and mobile apps. You’ll work directly with the Lead engineer and CEO to drive delivery, maintain timelines, and align priorities across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Own project planning, task breakdown, and timeline creation
• Track engineering progress, flag risks, and facilitate problem-solving
• Coordinate across hardware, mobile, frontend, backend, and QA teams
• Manage scope, prioritize tasks, and ensure resource alignment
• Run bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospective meetings
• Maintain project documentation and report status to leadership
• Improve workflows and ensure projects ship on time with high quality

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience managing engineering or technical projects
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (Agile/Scrum)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience working with engineering teams (backend/frontend/mobile/firmware)
• Familiarity with tools like Linear, GitHub, Jira, or similar
• Ability to proactively identify blockers and drive resolution
