Lead Software Engineer

Lead Software Engineer – C# , .NET , SQL, Azure, DevOps, remote first
 
To work for one of the largest external commercial businesses, whose clients are some of the largest blue chip organisations in the UK.

As the Lead developer you will be expected to lead a small squad to develop, deploy and support a variety of products that are key to their ongoing operation and growth as part of an overall large scale digital transformation.
Working with a mix of traditional C# and .Net Core applications you will help identify the best technology and patterns to redefine their platforms to be better suited to the modern world.
 
Requirements and Responsibilities: 

• You will have significant experience with creating and developing products on the .NET stack and Microsoft azure platform.
• You will have good experience with SQL , both in designing data models and in optimising CRUD operations to work with data.
• You have worked on both Legacy and greenfield projects to refactor older systems to be fit for purpose in a cloud first environment.
• Experience in mentoring junior member of the team and overseeing code review’s.
• Experienced in designing systems that are characterised by high levels of risk, impact and business/technical complexity.
• Previous experience of working with 3rd parties in both offshore and hybrid arrangements to supplement the technical development.
• Have the ability and passion to learn new technologies and help the company go through a critical business transformation.
