Infrastructure Support Manager – Azure, AWS, Windows, Infrastructure. Part remote

To work for a digital logistics company based in Berkshire. You will be working on their customers to go through a period of digital transformation. A significant part of this role will be focussed on changing their client’s infrastructure vision from an on-prem environment to a cloud based serverless environment. The business itself is already in the cloud entirely and their products which are used by the customers are also, hence the need to work with the end clients to transform their infrastructure so they can use their products and platform in the most efficient way. It is a great opportunity to create the next generation of platform and the support processes it requires.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and an inquisitive mind with the ability to propose improvements/automation to the Support manager.

The role:

• Manage a small international support team already in place
• Provide and implement future roadmap for IT support automation and improvement
• Responsible for the adequate technical activity planning for client upgrades, setups (on-premise, AWS and Azure)

• Support cloud environment (AWS, Azure)
• Support windows, web, and service applications
• Provide guidance for clients to cloud network setup
• Maintain and setup remote access
• Uphold core architecture principles
• Support internal infrastructure
• Deploy new implementation of our platform on site or in the cloud
• Create deployment automation where possible

• Troubleshoot network issues and PKI issues
• Communicate effectively (client facing) across regions/worldwide
