Product Owner

An internationally established, and still growing, Internet of Things (IoT) business based in London is currently seeking a new Product Owner to define and drive the development of the digitized supply chain product offering.
The business helps global businesses achieve complete transparency of their products/items to their consumers, from inception, through their supply chain, to delivery.
As the Product Owner, you will be the go-to person at the centre of the product; the expert.
Passion is a must; the business is looking for someone who can really take ownership of this product and continue to help shape the culture.

The Role:

• Work closely and collaboratively with the Product Manager in executing the strategic roadmap
• Own the increment roadmap, prioritise goals for the increment and lead the scrum team through our sprint zero planning cycles
• Learn and understand the requirements from stakeholders and customers, extracting the finer details on the requirements that aren’t explicitly stated
• Use your experience to coherently communicate your high-quality epics and user stories however works best for you (data models, wireframe, process flow diagram etc)
• Collaborate closely with the UX to define user experience and understand user behaviour, truly understanding the needs of the target audience
• Attending daily stand-ups; accepting stories as done; make in-sprint calls, ensuring the efficiency of the development process
• Clearly demonstrate your Product, ensuring everyone is kept up to date, becoming the go-to person for your product
• Own the documentation for your product, making the most of the chance to inject your own personality into your writing
• Lead workshops and group exercises

• Previous experience in Product Owner role and ideally experienced in supply chains (hugely beneficial – whether it’s in operational or technical role)
• An inhuman drive to build and ship products, and the ability to lead and motivate people to do the same
• The confidence to present your ideas for critical analysis, and the ability to do the same for others
• Someone who is not afraid of diving into standards documentation (must ensure that the product complies with industry standards)
• Experience of the full software development lifecycle
• A strong technical background
• Experience working with and defining APIs
• Experience using Agile methodologies
• The ability to write clear, specific epics and user stories using  techniques like BDD
