UX/UI Designer – UX, UI, XD, HTML, CSS

We are looking for a passionate UX/UI Designer to join a vibrant and growing Digital Agency, based in Oxford. You will be working on an array of exciting projects across mobile, tablet and desktop interfaces in a tight-knit and agile environment.

This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours and scope to share your own ideas.

UX/UI Designer – Job Specification:

As a UX/UI designer you will design effective user interfaces including layout, composition, typography, website architecture and design and will have a strong focus on improving the user experiences for a variety of clients. You will keep up to date with the latest trends and techniques, help to scope and plan design activities across all stages of the design life cycle, including research, user interviews, wireframing, prototyping, UI design and implementation. You will present your work/ideas to stakeholders and clients and may also be expected to mentor and support junior team members to help them grow.

UX/UI Designer – Candidate Specification:

You will have at least 2 years’ experience in website design with experience in UI and UX, ideally in an agency environment. You must have a strong portfolio with examples of your own work and have the ability to define usable and engaging designs. You will also have a good understanding in the use of HTML5 and CSS3

Other qualities include:

• Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, XD and/or Sketch, Balsamiq
• Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript would be a bonus but is not essential!
• Must have strong attention to detail
