Senior PHP Developer

PHP Developer – PHP, OOP, TDD, Symfony, Laravel, Vue.JS

We are looking for a passionate Full Stack PHP Developer to join a vibrant and growing Digital Agency, based in Oxford. You will be working on an array of exciting projects, using a range of modern technologies in a tight-knit and agile environment.

This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours and scope to share you own ideas.

PHP Developer:

As a PHP developer, you will be working on a selection of new and existing projects. You will be developing tailored web applications and API Systems for a wide variety of great brands/clients. You will be using agile methodologies, leading improvements within the development process whilst bringing your own expertise and ideas to the table! You will be leading a small team of developers in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to be involved in client pitches and spec meet ups.

Some of the technologies you will be using, but are certainly are not limited to, will be the following: PHP, OOP, Symfony/Laravel, Docker, MySQL, and Vue.JS.

You will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in a senior PHP Developer role, be particularly strong on the back end, and have familiarity of working in a client facing environment. You will have knowledge of MVC frameworks ideally Laravel or Symfony, have a good understanding of automated testing (TDD, BDD), and be able to deliver high quality code on time. Basic front-end skills such as HTML and CSS are essential, as well as JavaScript as they are using Vue.js and React. Any experience working in a CI/CD environment would be beneficial
