Website Developer – PHP, MySQL, Shopify, JS, HTML5, CSS3

We are currently looking for a Website Developer to join a modern and fast-paced E-commerce Agency, based in the West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow their digital team and get stuck into variety of exciting projects!

Website Developer – Job Specification:

A big part of your role as a Website Developer will be to help clients prepare and enhance their businesses for the digital world, building website and API systems. You will be working on both the back and front end and will have the opportunity to up your skillset by using a range of top-quality technologies. Your office hours will be Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm and will have some flexibility to work from home!

Website Developer – Candidate Specification:

As a Website Developer you will ideally have 2 years’ experience working in an agency environment and have knowledge of the Shopify core functions or WordPress. You will be passionate about Ecommerce, be an organised individual who is able to work to deadlines and want to learn and develop your skillset. You will have an excellent understanding of basic front-end tools such as HTML5 and CSS3; will feel confident coding in PHP and MySQL; and will have good knowledge of Git source code version control (Bitbucket).

The rest of the stack (and what you will be learning) includes:

• UI & responsive layouts
• Go, Python, Java, C#
• Javascript frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js & express.js
• Linux Server administration, ability to configure LAMP based web servers
