Creative Front End Developer

An exciting opportunity for a Creative Front End Developer to join a well-regarded Digital Agency HQ’d in central London, where you will be involved in building large, scalable responsive web apps, mobile apps and sites, ensuring maximum performance, stability and security. You will be working alongside a small and talented front-end team. Responsibilities:  Building robust web applications using React, Angular, Vue.js and Vanilla JavaScript Making sure the applications are highly performing, stable and scalable Building fully responsive, pixel-perfect front-end code Building reusable code and libraries for future use Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests Required experience:

• Ideally 4+ years’ experience developing web applications
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS and CSS3
• Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors (Sass)
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Good understanding of server-side applications frameworks
• Good understanding of templating languages
• Good understanding of JS task runners/build tools (NPM scripts, ParcelJS, Webpack)
• Experience of Agile methodologies

The right sort of Engineer for this position is someone who is willing to learn and contribute to the wider team. It is extremely important that you are able to translate designs and user experience into great code. Soft skills wise, you will have great communication skills and be approachable and will be comfortable working alone or a part of a team.
