Movement8 are excited to be partnering with a start-up business who offer a diverse range of AI Solutions to a portfolio of clients, aiming to reach net-zero throughout their buildings.

This business is award winning and has won the KPMG award for tech start up of the year in 2019.

Their solutions aim to battle climate change, and now the business has developed an AI Platform & won several contracts for future business, now have a newly created role for an Senior MLOps Engineer to productionalise their platform and manage a team of data scientists.

The Role

• You will be reporting directly into the Chief Product Officer, & manage a team of 3 data scientists, you will be responsible for the following:
• Leadership: Lead the team people manage and accountable for the team performance
• Leadership: Lead the team and facilitate technical discussion but accountable for set the technical direction with the team
• Customer Intimacy: As leader expect to foster closer working with end customers to understand needs and provide Data science solutions
• MLOps: implement an MLOps capability that allow the team to be self-sufficient and deliver from concept into live environment – the client don’t have this presently and you will be responsible for making it happen
• MLOps: Experiences is using MLOps processes and leveraging them for the success of end customer. Coaching and upskill the team in these capabilities

Skills Required

• Extensive background in MLOps
• Managing & scaling Data Science Teams
• Productionalising ML models
• Working closely with end clients to gather, interpret, implement and deliver AI/ML Solutions
• Python Programming
• Cloud: AWS & Azure for Machine Learning
• Expertise in architecting AI solutions
• MBA or an MA with a Quantitative focus  
• Extensive experience with ML Models: Predictive Modelling, Time Series Analysis, ANN, CNN, K-Means, etc.
• Experience leading a team of data scientists
• Good end product awareness
