The Role
They are now recruiting for a Database Administrator (Redshift) to work alongside other DBAs, DevOps Engineers, Architects, and other SMEs to work on reliability and performance aspects of multiple AWS Production and Non-Production databases supporting critical applications
You will also drive root cause analysis of incidents and determine how to better respond to or avoid incidents, work on observability of relevant database metrics aligned to service SLAs, and work towards the automation of the database platform and help engineering focus on delivering working application services
Skill and Experience Required
– Hold Security Clearance (SC) or be eligible
– At least 5 years’ experience as a DBA
– AWS Cloud computing
– Extensive experience with Redshift
– Deployment via CI/CD automation
– Maintenance, configuration, and monitoring databases
– Designing and implementing High Availability & Disaster Recovery
– Exposure to Python
