Cyber- Duck (PHP, Laravel)

PHP developer – Laravel PHP, JavaScript, remote

To work for a digital agency on a rolling 3 month contract. You will be working exclusively with their largest client to design, develop and implement innovative technical solutions to a high standard. You will be confident working with different stakeholders both internally and clients to both motivate, distil and drive requirements. You will be a confident PHP Developer and relish working within an agency environment and display a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality, robust solutions for a range of clients
• Attend client meetings to gather briefs and communicate ideas
• Run code reviews
• Train and mentor junior developers
• Help our CTO define and enforce quality engineering standards
• Use forward-thinking DevOps processes for deployments
• Support the QA team and embrace automation to find and fix bugs

Required Skills and Experience:

• Have at least 3 years experience with PHP open-source frameworks such as Laravel or Drupal
• Demonstrate code you produced with TDD in the above frameworks
• Have basic experience of JS framework (Vue.JS, React or similar)
• Object-oriented architecture and design patterns
• Utilise version control using Git and a systemised deployment process
• Experience developing APIs, understanding versioning, best practices and authentication methods

• AWS Cloud or DevOps knowledge
