Scrum Master

Scrum Master   – Fully Remote  We are working with a rapidly expanding business who have pivotted into becoming a prominent leader in the EV technology infrastructure sector. Their Software Engineering division has grown exponentially over the past 12 months and is set to grow by another 20-30 heads in the coming year. As a result of this they need a couple of very experienced Scrum Masters to join the business and ensure structure and processes are set and adhered to. This is mandated from the top so you have the buy-in and support throughout the hierarchy of the business. As a Scrum Master within Engineering, you will:

• Deliver high-value, high-quality enhancements to the clients software products and platforms.
• Drive the implementation of Agile best practices and processes within the Engineering function.
• Optimise velocity and performance of the team by building a culture of measuring and improving.
• Build squads that realise their full potential through coaching, training and mentoring.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial software delivery (which may be in product, development, test, or PMO).
• 5+ years as a Scrum Master with proven experience as a facilitator, servant leader, and relationship builder. Humility and diplomacy are key to success in this role!
• A deep understanding – gained on the pitch – of Agile methodologies (SaFE, Scrum, Kanban) and their variants, and of the principles and benefits of Agile versus Waterfall.
• Demonstrable experience of having led and implemented Agile practices including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, continuous improvement, impediment management, and so on.
• Understanding of modern engineering practices and architectures (CI/CD, continuous delivery, automated testing, event-driven architectures, serverless computing, microservices, CQRS).
• Previous experience of technology transformation environments.
• Experience of hybrid nearshore environments.
