Java Developer

An award-winning cybersecurity company are currently looking to hire an experienced Java Developer help further develop they’re core platform.

The successful candidate will have at least 2-4 years’ recent experience in Java, and can be based anywhere in the UK. An interest or background in cybersecurity would be desirable, though isn’t essential, but was is essential for the role is Spring Boot and Hibernate experience, and experience with Linux operating systems and unit testing.

Responsibilities:

• API development
• Work collaboratively within the Agile Scrum team
• Ensure a user an optimised user experience is delivered through your work
• Deliver in line with the product roadmap
• Offer input to new features
• Ensure that Product is kept aware of all developments
• Make sure any issues for your components are dealt with efficiently
• Deliver high quality, scalable backend infrastructure while collaborating with frontend teams to ensure deadlines are met

• 2 – 4 years' experience in Java (minimum) – essential
• Spring Boot and Hibernate experience – essential
• Linux operating systems
• Docker, Kubernetes experience – highly desirable
• Engineering and benchmarking SQL solutions – highly desirable???????

• Salary Range: £45k-£65k
• 25 days holiday + BH (10 in NI, 8 in England)
• Private healthcare
• Pension 4%/5% (employee/company)
