Service Delivery Director – Data, Security, Cloud

We are working for an award-winning innovative Cloud data Tech company. They have an extensive client portfolio comprising of Government departments and Blue chip FS companies. The business operates ultra-secure Cloud-based data infrastructure while reducing the cost to clients without compromising safety. The company expanded +50% during the pandemic and is on track to do the same again this year.

In your role you will oversee 30+ people and you will be tasked with increasing revenue, scaling the business, and creating a better framework. You will be responsible for all their Cloud, Security, DevOps, Data acquisitions and Secure Data platform clients and ideally have consultancy experience working for the Government.

You will have fresh ideas, and without being bound by red tape, increase sales and be custodian for all clients shouldering the responsibility of their success and failures.

 

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain standards, KPI metrics and best practices for the successful delivery of customers services

• Develop a deep understanding of Management Services to recommend and improve efficiencies within service delivery

• Take accountability for service delivery performance

• Plan out and forecast resourcing requirements, to meet customer expectations

• Oversee all Managed Service contracts and provide direction and support to the team to successfully deliver customer expectations

• Oversee the Service Delivery team with responsibility for recruitment, performance management, coaching and team building

• Responsible for ensuring robust Service management processes are designed and implemented for customers including critical incidents and release management.

Skills

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, agile and high-growth environment

• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships

• Proven experience working as a Service Director in a highly secure and regulated environment such Government or Financial Services

• Proven capability of building up, managing delivery, performance, and profitability across a wide range of projects

• A natural problem-solver who can make recommendations at pace, encouraging growth, development

• ITIL Certification

• Ability to manage multiple priorities

• Shape and grow teams to support existing and new potential customers

• Experience of leading teams working in Public Cloud environments
