Product Owner

Product Owner – SaaS Company – £50k-£60k

A well-funded, customer centric software company in Central London is currently searching for a Product Owner with some experience of marketing products to work alongside the Senior Product Manager to develop the new AI-optimised marketing product.
While the Senior Product Manager will focus on the more commercial aspect of the product, you will be leading a squad of Engineers, UX Designers, and Data Scientists and discovering new growth opportunities.

The successful candidate will have worked in start/scale-up sized businesses, and will ideally have experience leading/working in SCRUM teams, and not just be someone with a backlog-focused background.
The key to this role will be understanding the “what, why, how”, and wanting to have an impact on the wider business.

Although a Product Owner position, this role could be right for a Business Analyst looking to make the move into Product, as long as you have a demonstrable background in making an impact, and are confident to take a data-driven approach and voice your opinions.

The Role:

• Work closely with the Senior Product Manager to take a product from 0 à 1
• Act as the primary contact for the product for the Engineering teams
• Take a data-driven approach, and share your opinions with the wider business
• Maintain the product backlog, write clear user stories, and capture user needs & requirements, overall maintaining good prioritisation
• Work collaboratively with the Scrum Masters, ensuring the team is run smoothly
• Assist in the preparation of sprints, launches and feature releases
• Assist the Senior Product Manager grow the product, through idea inception to testing

• Previous experience as a Product Owner (or BA) in a B2B SaaS company – essential
• Experience with Agile methodologies – essential
• Experience with taking a data-driven approach
• Comfortable working closely with stakeholders of varying levels
