Business Analyst/Consultant
A PE-backed, London-based digital transformation consultancy is currently looking to hire a consulting/project-experienced Business Analyst on a contract that will run until the end of the year, with the potential to go perm.
The role will be more focused on operation model assessment and optimisation, rather than a typical BA role that would gather requirements and develop user stories. The key to this will be how you convert the “as-is” state into a “to-be” state operation that enables the business strategy to be achieved.
This position will collaborate closely with the Strategy Lead from a direction & vision perspective, and also the Product & Tech team as you will build/buy the enablers of the opersation model designs.
Experience Required / Role Overview:
- Working on digital transformation programmes, focusing on operational transformation across process, technology, and data
- Assessing and designing operating model blueprints
- Performing operational process and workflow assessment, and identifying pain points and opportunities
- Identifying creative solutions and operational improvements
- Taking part in and leading workshops, meetings, stakeholder engagement etc
- Assessing the possibility of implementing future technology solutions; identifying operational dependencies or limitations
- Bridging the gap between the business and technology teams
- Ensure all stakeholder needs are understood and communicated
- Build & maintain close working relationships with clients
- Provide clients with considered challenge where necessary
- Delivering high quality client work and creating written and visual output that is impactful and meaningful, including workshop materials and reports
- Work closely with the Strategy Lead to understand both short-term and long-term priorities
- Communicate progress, achievements and challenges with stakeholders
Experience:
- Previous client-facing project environment (consultancy) – essential
- B2B and B2C software delivery experience – essential
- Demonstrable successes with digital transformation projects – essential
- Demonstrable background in multiple stakeholder management???????
Extra Information:
- Contract rate: £350-£450 per day
- Perm salary: £60k-70k
