Java Developer

Java Developer – Java8, Microservices, Spring Boot

This is an initial 6 month contract, paying £450-500pd and falls Inside IR35. This will be offered on a remote basis but candidates will need to reside in the UK.

Working via a Global Consulting firm, on a large Banking project you will be part of a large Development team, consisting of Java microservices Engineers and React Developers.

You must have strong commercial experience with Java8, Microservices experience, ideally via Spring Boot. Any Spring Cloud knowledge would be great too.

Additionally, experience in the following will help:

• Experience and knowledge of code versioning tools i.e. Github/Gitlab, SVN
• Experience and knowledge in Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Experience in managing and maintaining Dev-ops pipelines and development automation.
• Unit and functional test automation using Junit and Mockito
