Senior Product Manager

A global customer engagement platform provider is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join their London office and take full responsibility for their latest product; an HR/employee engagement platform.

The successful candidate will have full autonomy for the product and will be responsible for building deeper functionalities to enhance the product capabilities.

You’ll have access to your own Squad, which typically consists of 5-8 Devs (you may have access to 2 Squads at times) and will work closely with the Product Marketing Managers to review/analyse the growth of your modules.

The role will be fully responsible for eliciting customer requirements, while also being able to translate requirements to the Dev team, so you must be comfortable with an individual contributor role.
Although an IC role, this role will be responsible for the EMEA region. As a result, if you’ve previously held a Head/Director of Product position with a European remit, and are happy with an IC role, then this could be for you.


The Role:
This Product line will feel like a start-up, so previous star-up experience is highly desirable. The environment will be fast-paced, and there will be the expectation for you to be flexible with the way you work.
However, as part of a much larger organisation, you’ll have the benefits of a secure, global company while having the fast-paced autonomy of a start-up.


Responsibilities:

  • Own and build features that align the product with the vision.
  • Understand the Customer problem with an eye for detailed context.
  • Work closely with the customers to elicit their requirements, and translate such requirements to the Dev team
  • Create solutions with excellent user experiences, shipping the right Product solution while solving the customer problem
  • You will work together with various Product development stakeholders, Marketing, Engineering, and other leadership teams to achieve the Product Vision
  • Evangelise the Product vision, and leading the Squad to achieve maximum customer value
  • Take the bigger vision and break it down into increments for the team to achieve small wins throughout the process
  • Occasional international travel may be required (every 6-months or so)
  • The role is remote, though can be headquartered in London or Ireland.

Experience Required:
  • HR SaaS domain experience is essential
  • 5-years’ Product Management experience for an HR SaaS company is essential
  • Experience using data/market research insights to drive your strategy; knowing when to use data to make decisions and when to go with your instincts
  • You excel at liaising with graduates and CEO’s alike
  • History of delivery high quality products in a fast-paced environment
  • An additional European language to English would be a huge bonus
