DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer – AWS, Kubernetes This is a permanent position, paying £70-80k and can offer fully REMOTE working (regardless of the current situation!). The opportunity is to work with an exciting company building a Real Time Pricing Platform and are in need of a permanent DevOps Engineer to provide scalability and adequate provisioning as they are grow rapidly into new territories. The position requires an experienced DevOps engineer to assist the rapidly expanding engineering team in the UK. You will be responsible for ensuring that the development teams have sufficient compute resource to meet the exacting demands of our clients as we continue to scale across the UK & US and enter new global territories. This is a hands-on role, that requires a confident and skilled individual who is able to take their SaaS platform to the next level. Working with senior engineers, QA’s and the product team you will understand how to meet the needs of these departments and push our technical platform forwards. This role reports directly to the CTO. Experience The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing scalable, high availability SaaS platforms on AWS. Specific tooling experience will include:

• AWS EC2, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, Istio, IAM
• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Infrastructure orchestration (Terraform, Chef, Puppet and Ansible)
• Version Control (Git, Github, Bitbucket)
• CI/CD Pipelining – CircleCI
• Networking protocols, security and auditing
• Solid command of Unix systems
• Cypress
• Security and Encryption
