Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS, Terraform

This is a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform) for a SaaS start-up who are scaling their UK arm of the business. You will be the first sole DevOps Engineer in the company allowing you to take ownership of the businesses Cloud Infrastructure moving forward. They’re looking for someone who is a self starter and has been influential in the early stage configuration of and AWS environment to allow improved efficiency.

Work Involved

• Taking ownership of the current cloud infrastructure, building upon it with a focus on security
• Being the first DevOps Engineer in the business
• Collaborating with the software engineering team’s across multiple countries
• Configuring their AWS environment to improve efficiency within the business
• Monitoring, alerting and security design

Requirements

• Strong AWS
• Lambda, S3, Control Tower
• IaC (Terraform or CDK)
• CI/CD with Git
• Containerisation (ECS, Docker)
• Security and Compliance experience 
• Prior SaaS beneficial
