Java Full Stack Engineer

This is an initial 6m contract role, outside IR35, paying £500-550 pd for a not-for-profit business, in a UK remote basis. Suitable candidates must reside within the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineer who loves to look under the bonnet, problem solve and re-engineer more elegant solutions.

You will need in depth commercial experience with:

• Java
• Javascript
• MongoDB/Atlas
• Elasticsearch/Opensearch
• AWS
• Rest APIs

The organisation has recently bought their core platform inhouse after initially being built by a 3rd party and need to “get under the hood” to understand the code base, dependencies and how it is built, before then working on improving the existing features. 

Working closely with the Product Manager, Cloud team and Sol. Architect, you will take ownership of the discovery, approach and re-build of the platform. If you love solving challenges and simplifying over Engineered solutions, this could be a fantastic project to sink your teeth into!
